Book Project
A Tale of Two Cloud Polis
This project develops a cultural-political-technological framework for understanding the US-China high-tech race as a contest between two distinct paradigms of cloud sovereignty, rooted in their own collective experience of modernization and divergent trajectories to modernity.

Book Project
Shu and Dispositif
This project examines how modern computational methods, along with their operational logics, are influenced by global power structures anchored in international class relations. By juxtaposing Western and Chinese cultural-technical traditions, it reveals how computational infrastructure is intertwined with ideological narratives driven by geopolitical motivations.

Research Project
The Culture of Algorithmic Models
This collaborative project (Cambridge University, Durham University, University of Kassel, Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design, and UCSB) aims to design a new sociotechnical and political framework for the analysis and critique of artificial intelligence systems. This includes the design and development of new tools, methods, and metaphors for the critical understanding of AI systems.
